Just thought I'd post a picture of my '70 Dart Custom, I've owned this car since I was 16. Anyone else want to share their first car that they still own?

My dad still has the 66 Coronet 500 I had in high school. He restored most of it. I wish I had a picture but I don't.

My first car that ran was a 1949 Plymouth 4dr 6cyc slug.
No pics, it quit on me in 65 on PCH near Ft Ord.
I was on leave from Navy and had to get back to Pearl Harbor on time, so I left it.

You said first car not Mopar. $1800 from a cousin (sold it to me for a 1985 Mustang GT), who bought it from another cousin(who sold it to buy a 240Z). Its been in our family since 1982. It did not look like this when I got her or while I raced her in my teens. I've owned her since I was 16! I was VERY fortunate to have a GREAT friend that garaged her for the 4 years while I served in the Marine Corps.

My Dad bought a 1970 Dart Custom new in 1970. When he was going to trade it in in 1975 (for a 75 Dart), I bought it as my first car. The first picture is of that car in 1974 on my way to the senior prom, and the next two are of that car today, still mine. The girl I took to tht prom and I have been married 44 years.

I had a project just like this a few years back. I wonder if it was the car:.....hmmm......from Ontario to Alberta is not too unrealistic in a car’s life!

Oh ya, my first car was a 69 Pontiac Acadian. But no pics of that one. :(
One owner car gdrill. . Still have her , different colour tho .

That's funny, we had a Honda CVCC that we all pitched in $50 bucks on (4 of us) at Camp Pendleton, burned a quart of oil per tank of gas (like 13 gallon maybe) and on the way home from TJ one night, the rings gave up and started laying down a smokescreen a beach assault would be proud of. Drove it up an off ramp and walked away from it. Hitched a ride at 3 AM 20 more miles back to Pendleton from another carload of Marines. 7 guys in some big sedan. My first car was a 70 Honda AN600, just like this one: same color, rims and everything, cept the rear bumper didnt have that extension on it, this one may be a 72

This '65 Mustang was my first car...it's been in my family since '68 and I've been messing with it since 1988, when I was 11.

Stupidly, I painted it with rattle can primer in 2011 or 2012. This was the night I painted it.

I lost interest and sold the car in 2013 for money to get married. January 2019, the dad of the kid who bought it text me and said he’s moving to Florida and asked if it’d like to buy it back. I jumped all over it! The kid parked it behind his dads barn when they got it home and never touched it again. It was like a time capsule when I went and picked it up! NOTHING had been changed on the car. This is what she looks like now.

Well, the title is in my name but it's still my dad's and always will be. He bought it in 1980. Sat from 1985 until 2016 in a Pole barn baically. Collecting dust in the shop currently. Contemplated selling it a while back but the deal was crap and I want to make sure Pop ain't gonna miss is.....

Had the scamp since I was 15, granted its only been 7 years almost.

I bought this 72 Duster in the summer of 1998 - I was 17. It was my first car. Was clapped out with a rod-knockin 318 and a rats nest of wiring. It had good bones though. Paid $700.
This picture was taken the day I left for the Army in 2000. The girl in the background was my high school sweetheart. We’ve been married for 14 years now.

This is the same car today. I still own it and always will. Someday it will belong to my son.
