Just thought i'd share a picture or two. Funny how things work in the digital age, my friend never uses the internet and has never put pics of his truck on a computer, but do a quick google search and you find it.

He picked it up for like 2700$ after highschool in much rougher shape. It was an older guys cruise car so it had extremely quiet mufflers and it had an SBC that hadnt been touched since it was put in the car(sometime in the 80s)

And for the purists, the engine bay is tiny on that truck. Meant for a small inline 6. Even the SBC is kind of a tight fit. He'd pretty much have to hack some of the body to fit a mopar...so why bother?

He just need to think outside the box. I was told the same thing with my 38 Plymouth.

Did you make those headers?
They look like the Schumacher ones.

but why bother? Its setup for a 350 and room to work is bad enough as it is. It doesnt make sense to rip it apart just so it will have a mopar engine. Plus then people still might ***** about the mustang 2 front suspension and jaguar IRS.

Nice truck!

I've got a '37 Dodge I picked up this summer, had been sitting out on a ranch for the last 50 years or so. Still in pretty amazing shape considering, very little rust. Fenders are a little rough, but for a work truck they're better than some I've seen.

Mine will be getting a '51 331 Chrysler Hemi! :-D

I would drive it to,if it's a running driving car I would run the wheels off of it. I have a Camaro sub in mine. I had people telling me I should run a 350-350.

Nice. I don't think there is anything amazing about the shape they keep. Try removing that bed and you'll realize why its held together for over 70 years. I've helped my friend take off the bed a few times when he built a custom gas tank for it. It generally took four people in average/athletic shape to strain and struggle to get the bed moved. They were obviously built with the thought that owners were gonna use and abuse the living piss out of these trucks.
