Wish I could run my Dart there but it's a 75. Would be a good time. I've never had anything old enough to participate in the loafers race.

For me it's the sound..That class of car with all the competitors leaving the line at 10000 RPM is the way it should be..
A 277 ci engine that makes 750 hp,what's not to like...

They run off an index..I'm not sure what the index for K is but it would be something like 11.20 or 11.30..
The thing is all those cars can easily run .50 to .80 under that index, probably some more than a full second faster..

Stock and Super Stock cars are my favorite.
The index was 11.20, and some of those cars were running 10.10, now that's impressive!
Nothing like a high winding small block and a 4 speed......
In Stock or Super Stock, if you are running against a car that's in your same class, it's heads up, and the first one to the finish light wins.
That's why it's so important to have a car that will run under the index, but this is insane!
