Yep. That's how we do it!

When I lost the sight in my one eye my buddy told me not to drink out of a glass with a straw in it.
This is how stupid this whole thing is getting.
wasnt that how you lost your sight in the first place? i remember when i was younger, every time i would drink coffee it would hurt my eye that finally stopped when i took the spoon out
And it’s going to get worse.
It's called Ischemic Optic Neuropathy which was caused they figure by some plaque got loose and went up into the optic nerve and killed about 70% of my sight. I still have peripheral vision but no centre vision...just grey is all I see. It's like the optic nerve had a heart attack is the best way to describe it as it was explained to me. It happened the day of my 59th birthday. I woke up and it was gone. The one present I couldn't return. I still drove forklift as you compensate and figure things out. Little freaky at first but nobody at work knew it and when I retired my boss said I was one of the best drivers he'd had. Maybe that wasn't saying much for the other guys LOL. The one thing that freaks me out it going through a construction site and driving between road cones as I can't judge depth or distance.
At 32 years old had a brain anurzym it was pushing on my optic nerve went totally blind in left eye. Went to doc on Wednesday afternoon told doc he said to me did you puke I answered yes. Friday afternoon I was on the operating table having brain surgery. Regained sight about 3 weeks after and everything still works fine. Now you know why I am the way I am what’s your excuse LOL
You and me both bud LOL
Oh it's just natural for me LOL. So glad you got your eyesight back. It's so precious. Right now I have a cataract on my good eye but are putting off removing it just in case something did happen. When I get my eye exam every year I'm told I have 10/20 vision which is even better than 20/20 but with the cataract everything looks a little blurry and pisses me off. Have to play the cards you're dealt with.
this happened to me a few weeks ago it was a friday nite and we were all sitting out by the fire my boy came out and asked me if i could make him a smore sure, no problem so i take the roasting stick in my right hand and i grab a cracker and a piece of chocolate now im gonna let you in on a little secret here...the trick to making the perfect smore is where you place the cracker with the chocolate on it while you are roasting the marshmellow see, most people just put it on a table willy nilly, but i have found if you have a stone ring around your firepit (which i do) that ring is the perfect distance from the fire and that is where you want to place the cracker with the chocolate that way, the radiant heat will soften up the chocolate so it will melt when you place the marshmellow on it so, with the cracker in my left hand i bend over in my chair to place it on the stone ring and i literally push my own face down on the roasting stick i have in my right hand never saw it coming and it went right in my right eye popped my contact right out for a while i could only see blurry, but when i put in a new contact, everything was fine again
