When I was a preteen a bottle of pop was .10 cents, .02 cents was the deposit. Pop came in 24 bottle wood crates. Holy crap I’m old

Remember going to the Pan Am pool in Wpg. Ther was a Rotten Ronnie’s 1/2 block away. You could get a burger, fries, and a pop for under a dollar
Use to have a Burger Chief not Burger King And have change left over
And it only cost a dime for the bus ride.
And you could get a transfer slip and ride again

The kids wanted hotdogs the other day
Well, it just so happened I know a cool lil hot dog place on the north side
So we went out there and couldn't find it anywhere
All I could find was a greasy taco joint
Turned out the hot dog place closed 12 year earlier and they put that Mexican in there

I think all or most women should have these on their cars. When my older sister had her first car, I went over to do something for her. Her complete sidewall of the front right tire had what looked like a wide whitewall. These were blackwall tires. Se said-well I have to get close to the curb.

My sis completely destroyed an aluminum wheel rubbing a curb. Not to the point of being unusable, but no amount of polishing would fix it.
