Just had my new to me 71 340 Duster delivered from St Louis yesterday, and the car has a definite lean to the passenger side. I put it up on my lift but can't see anything obvious. All the structural components I see are all rust free and unbent. Maybe torsion bar adjustment? It leans equally front and back...any ideas?

Thanks,

Mark

did you forget to tke the jack out from under the driver side????????????lol
nah, without pics, cannot help

get after the torsion bar. give a few turns in to raise it, drive it around the block, get it on flat ground, measure it, adjust as necessary. i like to measure from the top of the tire to the fender lip, or the front bottom corner of the fender to the ground.

There is a factory height in the factory manual, which is measured as the difference between the two ends of a lower control arm to ground. You should be able to find on FABO. Very important is to adjust the toe-in after any height adjustment, or your tires may wear quickly (how would I know?).

My Demon and Dodge D150 truck do this- I put new shocks in my Demon and the lean went away.. never touched the torsion bars
