I forgot how good it looked mini tubbed. The rears were a set of custom 15x10 rallys my buddy's dad welded up for me.

I don't recall that we "bought" anything. We cannibalized some rims and centers and my buddy jigged them up and welded them together.That a dam cool looking Hot Rod.... Loved those day when you could buy the bands and centers and just weld and balance what ever kind you liked...

It was a wicked 340. I bought the shortblock from my machinist. He ran in an alcohol class. It had all lightweight BME internals at about 12:1. Big solid lifter cam and X heads I think. It revved like a Kawasaki Ninja I remember. Could hit 7500Rpm with a blip of the pedal. Never raced it unfortunately before selling it.Very cool. What engine were you running in it?
