He had a little mishap a couple years ago and finally got my old Daytona back to Quaker City in Ohio on Friday. The first pass he has a small miss around 1000 feet and the second pass the transbrake didn’t hold. He’s going to try to address those issues and hit the Mopar race at Norwalk next month. The car is black now.

I had an 86 that I bought new. I ended up donating it to Goodwill. I’ve regretted it since then.

This car is a long way from one that rolled off the assembly line. Full tube chassis, mild steel car that I had updated to 7.50 cert. I ran 8.60@155 mph in it with a stock 440 block and low 8.40’s@160mph with my Keith black block and 440-1 heads with a bad fuel pump. Nicest driving car I’ve ever had.
