My 21 year old hero left today for afghanistan. Really sucks!!! He is stationed with the 173rd airbourne division based in Bamberg Germany. I want you all to keep him and all american soldiers in your prayers. I will miss him dearly. He will return in June for 2 weeks and have to go back again to finish his tour which ends in December 2010. He will miss Thanksgiving and Christmas. Any prayers are greatly appreciated. I will post how his unit is doing every so often. Thanks:angel7::usa2:

We're in your corner Slappy and tell him thanks for his service. Please keep us posted on the situation. Workin on the prayers.

You must be very proud of him. I remember returning from Desert Storm and seeing the pride in my fathers and grandfathers eyes. It made it all worth it. Be supportive and send lots of packages. My prayers are with him.

your son must be an outstanding young man....i wish him well....

I know you are very proud of your son's contribution. Will send prayers for him and your family, and for all service men and women and their families. May the time pass quickly.

My prayers go out to your son and all those fighting for our freedom. My son will probably go over in January... I am so proud of him, as I know you are proud of your boy... I also hope the time passes quickly for them all

May the Good Lord, training, and his buddies keep him and ALL our warriors safe.

Prayers on there way for your son and your family and friends for a safe return, Thank you and your son for making my home and country safe to enjoy while we are here.

Thoughts and prayers are with him and the rest of the soldiers.
God bless them all and guide them to a safe journey home.:salut::salut:

Sorry to hear that he's going to be gone for so long. When you get a chance, tell him thank you for me. :thumblef:
