My worst nightmare came true

My worst nightmare came true today when they were installing my windshield,the took the old one out and they found rust and not just a little.They still put the windshield in and did there best at sanding it but they just cant warranty the windshield.Does anybody know where the do stuff like that in the dallas/ft. worth area,,fix windshield channels.

did you make out ok with the clips? any holes or just surface rust?

its really easy to fix that...

you just need to make a 90* peice of sheet metal the same size as the repair area

then use the shrinker/stretcher to form it to the same contour as the body, then cut and weld...

Thanks,,and yea they new were they went i just couldnt get the windshield insured because the rust.
