Mystery box

Was pulling the wiring out of the dash of the 75 dart in preparation to repaint and rewire and ran across this box. Since its orange it reminded me of a data recorder or aircraft flight test instrumentation. Wasn't sure exactly its purpose, might be for the buzzers and/or fuel pacer?

Anyone know its function? If it does something interesting I might wire it back in.

I'm pretty sure I have a yellow version of that box. Mine site right above the driver side vent box. I'm 99% sure mine is for the dealer installed cruse control.

Seat belts

Look under the hood and see if you have the dreaded "reset" button. If you do you need to bypass it

Thanks, I went thru one of the above threads and now I understand why the wiring under the front seat was not connected to anything in order to fake it out. That box will definitely "go away"
