Having some radiator problems, bought a 68 cuda years ago & found out it got the wrong rad in it..Any body have one for sale,or somthing that might work..I was checking on a griffin alum. rad,but dont know how it will fit..Any help would be great.............thanks

I will check and see if I have anything that might work. Do you have any measurements between the mounting holes (ie. vertically and horizontally)? If you can get those mesurements, please PM me with them. Re: the shroud. Getting an original off of a MaxCool/AC car is expensive. I have seen them go from $175-$225 (again, for an OEM piece). You may want to look into a good functioning aftermarket piece.

Yeah I just recently got a OEM shroud complete with a lil undercoating overspray on it for 110.oo Lucky earlybird to a 'buy it now' listing.
Beware the repops cause some of those are crap, warp and hit the fan when they get hot. Those 22 inch radiaters may be 2, 3, or 4 core depennding on what engine it went with.

I do have measurements..It looks like i need a 22" rad & the height is about 23".the mounting holes are 24" across & 14 & 3/4" up & down... The shroud holes are 22 & 1/2" across & 13 & 1/4" up & down..The lower hose hook up is on the pass. side & top could be either side...

I found a 3 core he wants $250 for it but he said it has'nt been tested, would have to take a chance

250 !?!?! Good grief Charlie Brown ! you can get a new aluminum for that.
Honestly... there was someone else asking for the same radiater the day before you and I typed and deleted in that thread several times. Reason being , I've got one but really dont want to sell it. It must have a very small leak since theres a green stain down the inner side. It was in my 67 notchback 273 car when I bought it. Drove home (2854 miles) and never added more than a quart of water. Never ran hot.
The "$250" got me typing . Money talks. $250 screams ! LOL
How about 150 plus shipping from 29642

Yep i agree $250 is nuts, don't know if it leaks, its a nice 3 row in nice condition so he says, i offered $200,haven't heared back yet...Any how i got a few junk yards looking that i got off of moparts,if nothing there i think i'm going to get a griffin for $170 (allum.) & fit it ih there somehow...The only direct fit i found was an allum. one from be cool rads. (are you settin down) $666.25..WOW!!! I'm sure it would be nice though,i guess...thanks for the offer ...Bob
