Someone replaced the Carter BBS on the "65" Valiant I just bought W/a Holley.
The Carter was in the trunk & is in real good shape but some idiot stripped off some of the choke linkage to convert it to a manual choke. We found a good choke stove on an old Valiant in the woods today so I want to get the original Carter back on the car.
Anyone have a clapped out Carter BBS I can canabalize form the choke linkages? I don't need anything else, so any old busted, corroded, gummed up, etc Carter BBS will do as long as the choke parts I need are in good shape.
I only need the choke plate shaft (they pried off the linkage plate on the end) & a few other linkage rods.
I'm in Northern NY State, just across the St.Lawrence River from Cornwall Ontario.
