I have a sneaky hunch where you're going with this... let me guess-
can you swap the slant 6 reluctor and cap onto a small block electronic distributor that has vacuum and mechanical advance and end up with a non-computerized electronic ignition for the V6?
I believe it's possible, since MP offered that very thing, and I doubt it would have been offered (with such a limited market) if it couldn't be done with off the shelf parts. You may have to re-phase the reluctor?
