[WANTED] Need a speedo cable for 1965 Barracuda

Hi, All the cables you can find online are incorrect and instead send the cable for the 66 and later. Does anyone have a 1965 Plymouth cable that has the housing attached? Mine is frayed so I have no speedometer. Thanks.

If you're SURE that the cable housing is in good shape (isn't what caused the cable to fray in the first place) then just get one of these, they work fine:

And then install with lots of grease per:
speedometer cable removal

Housing is in great shape. An $8 gamble to save $140 makes sense to me! I'll try and report back on whether I can make it work. Thanks!

For a '65 he needs one of these. The cable with 2 threaded ends started in '66.
