Need a tranny number decoded!?! Quickyl!

Have what I think is a 904 small block transsmission. Can someone tell me what I have? Here are the numbers near the pan rail.

The identification numbers are 7 digits so I assume it's the 1st 7 digits of your posted # which is 4023814 but that # doesn't come up. The #'s jump from 3898869 right to 4028405. If by chance that 3 is an really an 8 (4028814) it's a 1978 904 that was used behind a 318

The tranny was part number 4028814 and was for a 78 318 motor.Built in april of 1978 it was the 7593 built at that plant,mrmopartech from MYMOPAR.com
 
Thanks guys it was a 8 and not a 3 haha.... So I have a 78 904 tranny going behind a mild 340 at least the driveshaft will line up Now since the car was originally a 318/904 car
