Need advice on MP3 or Ipod?? player

I just found out I can run an MP3 type of deal on my Goldwing through the stereo. The CD changer for the bike is $1000. I ordered it but if I can find an MP3 player that will work I'll go that way.

I would like it to power off 12V
I want a remote so I can hide the player

I have zero knowledge on this type of thing so hopefully someone here is into it.

Did you check at http://www.crutchfield.com/S-z738CAvMIW3/index.html they have all your stereo needs...May be steep in some prices but find what you want and compare online...

brett, does the wing have a fm radio ? If so , you could get an iPod and a Griffin iTrip and you can carry your entir cd collection in your pocket and play it thru your radio.........for alot less money

I got an IPOD, the bike has an AUX fuction that plugs into the IPOD. It works great. I saved $700 canceling the disc changer.

Its amazing how much music you can store in an IPod or even a notebook. My friend is a DJ in Vegas and all he carries is his notebook and maybe a couple of cds and records. He has over 2500 songs in his notebook that he plays from. Beats lugging those record cases around like we used too :roll:
