need help 340 x heads removal of mainifolds

so i have a 68 with a 340
i want to pull manifolds for jet coating and have to replace gear box
whats the best way to get at bolts/studs on drivers side

and if any one has any input how to remove gear box i was told i need to pull colum im a mechanic so im sure i can fig it out but i fig a bit of insider input cant hurt

Pull the motor out. They will be real easy to reach.

i posted these at the same time in two different areas for two different topics
1 being gear box removal and the other in a different area where it was suppose to be for my manifolds threw both questions in looking for help sense if some one has been down this path it may jog a memory and pass on a tip sense they see that im in need of doing both jobs
did we really need to point out that i asked this as a secondary question in another topic really
