Need help with gas tank removal

I am removing gas tank form a 74 duster. Straps came off easy but am havign trouble removing the seal at the neck of the the fuel intake. Other lines work off freely. Should I force it off at the neck or try another approch?

Are you talking about the gasket at the filler neck? If so use some blaster on the seal and twist it until it comes free, it'll come. When you put it back on use a dab of silicone grease on the gasket; it will prevent that problem the next time you pull the tank.
