The back panel below the trunk lid, the part covered by the bumper, has damage on my car. I need a few good pictures of that area for my bodyman to reference. Must be without the bumper in place, and undamaged. if anyone has some they could post or pm to me, I'd really appreciate it.

I think this is what you are talking about. I don’t believe my car has be hit in the rear as when the car was stripped it looked original.

Next time I'm out I'll take a couple more pics for you, but that is all I have at the moment.

So...I just noticed two trunk lid supports. Are those the click stop type? That's what mine had, but just on one side of course. I'm going to a gas shock type.

yes my car with 2 click type trunk supports, it is the only car I have ever seen with 2 supports.

So, you didn't add one? The mounts for both supports are factory looking? Wow, that's the first I've seen that!

That is the way it came, all factory. I bought the car form the original owners son and the car had sat since 1977. The son tried to put a 340 in the car and the engine vibrated so bad he gave up on it and put it up for sale and I got it about 15 years ago.

Here is the rear valance from my Formula S with a cutout for the factory exhaust. It looks like it is still a little tweaked on that side, but I'm not going to worry about it for now.

My 65 Barracuda under-the-bumper panel shows a visible seam on both sides where it was spot welded to the rear quarters. I guess because it was mostly hidden below the bumper, the factory didn't see fit to lead in those two seams like it did others. Either that was not a universal rule, or the seams on Keith's Barracuda were filled at some later time. Here's what mine looks like.

My 63 Valiant also has these unfinished seams.
