Need pic of '65 Barracuda trunk lid support rod

Need a pic of a '65 Barracuda trunk lid support rod, preferably installed. I know some later '65's used the '66 version but I need a pic of the earlier one....Thanks!

This is not a pic of my car but the same trunk prop mine has, also a 65.

And... Here is a pic Uninstalled... With NOS bracket that I painted white to use on my 65 cuda... but then changed my mind and stayed with the later mod year (65-66) spring rod as it's less likely to get damaged by peeps who always just want to push down on the trunk without the "up Lift" then down that's called for !!!

my 65 has the double hook spring rod on the left side. Lids are interchangable....but there will be a bracket on the right side for the right side slider rod. a bracket on the left side to catch the lower hook. Both brackets on either side hand just below the trunk drip channle, ~ 5 " up the lowest point of the lid.

If using the earlier lid, a hole is needed in the undeside of the trunk lid for the top hook. Shape is a little different too. I would think the best best would be to make a small bracket with a hole and mount it to the underside. Not stock looking, but easier to positon.

yeah, mine must be a later 65 (4-01 build date) design. Would like to convert to prop rod style, might still work! sorry, forgot pics

Zookypr... The "bracket" is for the trunk lid... The lower bracket should already be there welded in place as part of the trunk... And that's all the parts I have!!!

Zoo, I think I have the entire ratcheting setup, including the top and bottom bracket if you're in need of it! Needs to be cleaned up and restored, but it's all there! Message if you're interested! Geof

DO all 65 barracuda have them? i don't on mine
