This is my first try at building a new motor for my 68 dart so I thought I would turn to you guys for some input. Here is what I have so far:

340 block stroked to 416
SCAT rotating assembly
final compression about 9.8:1 to run pump gas
Hughes cam .548", 237 dur, 108 LSA
Eddy Air Gap intake
Eddy RPM heads - non ported
750 holly dp carb
3:91 gears
4 spd

1. Does the above combo seem like they all fit or did I make a wrong choice with something like going with a single plane instead of dual?
2. What kind of horsepower should I expect?
3. Can I expect mid 11s in the 1/4?
4. I plan on headers - Dougs or TTI?
5. Is the stock coil fine or should I go to something like the MSD 6AL?

Thanks!

I'd run the Street Avenger 870 carb. Cam' a little small but it will make mad torque. Intake is fine. If you want to put a real cam in it, the intake could be the single plane MP. ETs with a stick depend on the driver, but you should have the mile-per-hour to run in the 11s. Also depends on the tire size. Most strokers like yours will make peak horsepower around 54-5600, so usually a milder gear is better. I think 3.91s with a 28" tall tire would be ok but it's been a while since I played with the calculators to see what you'd be trapping at rpm-wise.
