My 727 last year had a cheetah rev. man. valve body and race clutch's in a all steel 67 dart with a 440 N/A motor it ran 10.90 know I'm putting a new motor in it's a 514ci with a PT-106 turbo and I am putting a turbo action cheetah trans brake in my 727 and I was told for the trans to hold up I should put a billet steel or billet alum. drum in , I will go with the steel drum as the car is 95% street driven with 5-10psi.

I see that I can get a stock billet steel drum for the stock size piston and a steel drum with a bigger piston can I get away with the stock billet steel drum or do I need the one with the bigger piston.

Thanks Mike

Get a billet drum. That is the part that tends to explode when using the stock piece. Makes a HUGE mess and can breaks bones when they let go.

A&A has a steel drum that is explosion proof. Cost $700 but people have lost legs from 727 explosions. Also use the Super Sprag, bolt in, overrunning clutch.
