Im in need of a 904 tranny to fit a 1965 barracuda with a 273 motor.
Also am looking for a kickdown linkage to this car.

Too bad you are so far away. I have a 904 off a 65-66 273, IIRC. The one with the odd splined input shaft.

Also have the matching converter.

Use a later 904 with the Imperial Services cable shift adapter. You can keep your original shifter and have the benefits of the later trans.

I've heard of Imperial, but didn't know about the conversion kit. I just read up on it. If you have a '64, Caveat Emptor:

"Pushbutton conversions require sending your pushbutton control unit, shift cable bracket, and park lever to Imperial Services for modification. Allow 12-16 weeks for pushbutton conversions."
