Need To Get Away For A Few Days...

As with so many of the great people here, my son and I have both been out of work since the beginning of this year. Of course we are at least getting un-employment but that barely pays the bills. Before being laid-off my wife and I were planning to spend a few days at Ocean City Maryland, but of course now we cannot afford to drive down and rent a place to stay.

I am writing this in hopes a member here may have a place at O.C. they would be king enough to let us stay at for a few days. This would be a great surprise to spring on my wife. Of course cash donations would be welcome as well.

We are in the same boat. Lay off sense Oct. 08. We opted to travel close this year and ended up staying at a KOA Kamping Kabin. It was only $40.00 a night. We were gone 4 nights, only spent $400.00 including all meals and fuel!
Good Luck, I hope you make it. Our vacation was not our usual sense the banks took back our camper & cummins Dodge. However it ended up being one of the best and most stress free vacation we have been on in a long time. Just packed the 64 Dart and off we went!!!!!!

At a commercial printing co. Have been in printing for over 35 years and I'm overqualified (Too Old)! Print production & management, digital workflow, spec pre press with pressroom experiance, print shop owner, truck driver, mechanic, golf course maintenance mowing greens, fairways, ruffs etc, why what do you got? America, WILL WORK FOR JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh sorry, there I go again! Most recently, 6 months pit crew on "Bride of Frankenstein" for ABodyBetty's 67!

You can always go through Woodal's.com, KOA,etc. Theres alot of options. Even though we basically stayed in a garden shed with heat and air it was still pretty good time! My $.02! Good Luck!

If I recall correctly, there is a State Park just south of Snow Hill Maryland. They have camping, and camper sites. Last I was there, which was twenty years ago, it was very well kept, and very peaceful. Ocean City was only 30 minutes away as I recall.

We do not have a camper or even a tent.

I was really hoping someone of hear may have a place they own at O.C.
