Shiny paint causes stress.
I pulled a bone head move and dropped half a valve lock while changing seals in a van (360).
I plugged the holes in the head where tiny parts could disappear, but forgot to drape a towel to catch things on the downhill side. Lesson learned.
I heard it hit a couple of things but never heard it hit the ground AFAICT. Anyway, it's lost somewhere in the suspension never to be seen again until I don't need it anymore.
I don't have any spare small block keepers here, but do have some keepers on a bb 452 head that I could scavenge. Both should be stock. Are the bb keepers compatible with sb parts?
