Need to pull the 318

It needs freeze plugs, gonna replace them with brass. That said I know what needs to be undone to get the engine out, however I have never pulled one from an A-body, are there some items that need to be undone that don't on the bigger cars/trucks? Will the 727 clear if I pull the radiator? -BD

other than crash the distributer into the wiper motor ? LOL
I really dont like to pull engine and trans together. Just not comfortable having such an awkward load on the cherry picker. You could drop it all out from under the car about as easy.
If the trans doesn't need to come out you can toss a length of chain around the torsion bars and draw the ends togeher just snug with allthread, nuts, and washers until it supports the front of the trans.
