Another Cl special I have been watching for a year or so . Built 340 , 8.75 with 3.91 suregrip , 4 speed , disk brakes . Body in real nice shape but needs paint . Interior new 10 years ago but servicable .

Nice ride, look's clean, dash looks awesome, should be a pretty easy project. I would probably lose the stripes though, LOL!

Still getting a couple of missing parts together but will probably sell it to fund this one . I don't have an extra 150 , sorry . Nice new car for you too !!

Nice staerint point and cool dash! Wanna swap a pair of 68 bumpers and brackets for those wheel trim rings and centers?

Nice ride looks like you will be spending some quality time in the garage.

Thanks, but the car is 100% complete (just apart for paint , 8 years ago ) . He is the second owner since 1976 ( his high school car).

A side note about the rear wheels , he had them widened to 8 " by Stockton Wheel in 1979 for $20.00 total , ah the good old days ....

Shouldn't it have a large exhaust cutout on the drivers side for the exhaust system? I see the 340 style tips for duals but not the cut out.

It has the right letter in the VIN (H) for the HP 273 but who really knows beyond that . There is alot that is not correct on this car , motor , hood emblems , 3rd member ,4-speed , .... I don't really care about all that , I'm more of a gear head . The guy was super fussy about everything in his shop ( model airplanes , gokarts , guns ) that I just got a good feeling about the deal , he says the motor really goes like a bat out of hell , I look forward to putting it to the test .

Thanks guys !! I have the new carpet in place and the PO gave me enough material he had left over to have my seat guy fix the drivers seat . So all the interior looks real nice even though it is 70's style . I put the motor and trans back together and hopefully will have it in the car on Sunday . I got it registered ( no skeletons on this one thank God !!!!!!) and have a temp license because I wanted to keep the custom plates (6CUDA7) and they take some BS to get through the paperwork ....

With any luck I will putt it around the neighbor hood late Sunday !!!!

I will update my Daughters 63 Valiant too because that one is ready to drive sans paint .

Are the wheels all 14" or did he put 15" on the rear when he had the 8" made? I like those centers as the ones I just got from Wheel Vintiques have round center dome on them. Still need to find the trim rings, 2 each 14" and 2 each 15".

Sweet find. Love the dash and instruments. That engine looks cool with the MOPAR ex manifolds. My 340 has that same torker II intake but with a 1" riser. Will be an airgap soon unless I just build a stroker from a 360 and pull the 340 intact to keep it from being blown up.

They are 14's .

Spent more time fooling around yesterday then getting anything done ( did manage to get the seats mounted though and pretend to drive LOL !!) , then took my Son to the Warrior's game .... All in all a good day ...

Yep, you need a release to transfer the license plate to your possession.

Personalized plates in CA are owned by the person and do not go with the car.

Motor and trans back in car and hoping to fire it in the next week or so . Interior finsihed and back in the car also . Can't wait to drive the beast .

Wow ,talk about getting sidetracked !! 6 months and no work on this project . Did finally manage to get it fired tonight for the first time . Maybe get to drive it tomorrow or Monday !
