Hey just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I found this website after searching for a good place for info on my car which is a 1965 Dart GT. It has a 225 Slant 6 and an floor shift automatic. I just finished rebuilding the carb today and so it running great. Im sure i will need all kinds of help while working on this car. But i will probably lurk around here more often then not.

Sorry i spaced on that. The car needs paint in a bad way, its starting to bubble. The lady who i got it from, her dad waxed the car but never buffed it, thats what all the white smudges are. Oh also, i purchased this car for a grand total of $1.

Nice find for a buck. I like the 65's and have a vert but it needs restored. So what are the plans for it?
I guess my plans are just keep the rust away and just enjoy it. No big plans, just maintenance, its a great highway cruiser, but before i rebuilt the carb the accelerator pump would stick and puke gas all over, i hope i have that problem fixed now that way i can get it back on the road.
