Just thought I would share...nothing changed on the car yet except I used Royal purple instead of regular oil. Nice cool air gave me a 1.54 60', 6.99 in the 1/8th at 98 mph and 11.02 @ 121.7 in the 1/4.....I was so close to the 10's I could almost taste it!!! Soon....very soon!!!:-D

Previous best was 7.09 @ 96 in the 1/8 and 11.19 @ 120 in the 1/4.
 
Congrats man. I will hopefully have some times like yours, but a second slower to share after I pull the tranny to check the sprag. But I got the spool in!
 
Looks like you,ll be in the 10,s soon.I have to get my car back together,shootin for mid 10,s in the 66 Dart.
 
Nice work on the ET and mph gain.What type of oil and additives (if any) were you using before the the switch to Royal Purple ? Im just curious...
 
I was running Rotella 15-40...I don't think I'll know if the Royal Purple made it faster till I can do an apples to apples comparison with some warmer air, but it sure was fun!
