Last chance to get a deeply discounted new Challenger SXT - San Leandro, Ca. Dodge.
I bought one of these in 2020. Been a great all around car…

I just bought a Sublime SXT with the Blacktop Package for $8000 off sticker. I love it so far.

They are having trouble selling them. I bought a 2022 Challenger scat pack back in February. Fun car to drive.

Got to clear out inventory to make room for the new hurricanes

Just don't put fart cans on them! It will sound just like a fwd POS from Nissan, Toyota, Hyundai, etc

Heard that vile noise myself just the other day from an SXT

The Gen 3 Hemis don't sound much better than the V6 cars when they have loud exhaust. I hear them on the interstate about a half mile from my house making noise at night. They have a distinct sound and it ain't pleasant! That was the main reason I ditched the 5.7 Hemi swap for my 70 Duster and going back to my original plan for a 340.

They're not selling them that cheap around here. I'd like one with just about any engine, so long as it doesn't have the government shutyoudown package that's about to become mandatory.

Mine does not sound like a 6cy..

There's a pretty well equipped 5.7 RT at the dealer by my house for $32k. They have a 6 speed and an auto. Been sitting for a while too.

I love my Scat Pack WideBody. The car is just plain fun to drive. Sounds great and runs strong.

A WBSP 6M has been a dream of mine. Honestly not sure I would really ever drive my '74 if I had one.

Since I got my SPWB I rarely drive my '69. KInda sad, but it is what it is. I understand exactly what you mean.

I have been tempted to pick up a kowalski-ish 6 speed with a V-8 for quite some time. I get cold feet when I think of our 48k mile '10 300c srt8 in the shed that sits unused. Ground clearance is often a factor in vehicle choice for us. The LX cars can get torn up on some of the parking lot approaches out here. They are steep because of the rain storms. Curbs and parking space curb stops will also tear them up in one incident.

I had a '15 R/T 6M that I really enjoyed. Even swapped in an 8.4 and set the configuration to turn on Performance Pages and Launch Control. Really enjoyed driving it, great road trip car. I miss that car.

You need to bring that 300 up here to me and I will put miles on it for you. I would even be willing to go down there to pick it up and save you the trip up. :D

Funny thing is, this thread (and other things in life) have me on AutoTempest looking at Challengers and there is a 2012 SRT8 6M in Medford that had me looking at maps to see how far away that was.

Let me know if you come down. The 300c belongs to my wife. She is very sentimental about her cars.

Currently all bays are full at my place. I have two cars for sale and no interest so it might be this way for awhile. : /

Right after we bought ours we drove from our home in the central part of Illinois to New Orleans straight through. That is the only time I have ever gotten out of a car after that long of a trip and felt like I could drive for another 13 hours...fun, comfortable, pretty fast and, all your creature comforts, can't go wrong.

Didn't mean they sound like 6 cylinders....I meant they don't sound as good as old V8's if you compare both with loud exhaust. They just have a weird sound when they have loud exhaust.
Maybe not but, they sound way better than the newer Mustangs or Camaros. The Hemis have a unique sound and, I LOVE IT!! I think they sound like crap when these goons straight pipe them. They need some sort of mufflers to give them some tone.
