Check out the plate that the compressor is mounted on. That's a Charlie Schmid original piece and he has more for sale if your interested. It's great for converting early A body slant sixes for air and has no clearance issues with Offy or Clifford 4bbl, Super 6 or 1bbl intakes, or Dutra or header exhausts.. Here's what Charlie did, and it works like a charm! I actually got to use the air a little yesterday when it was a little warm. (Gotta love Florida!) I would also like to point out that this car was originally heater delete, so Charlie deserves a medal for ingeniously working both the A/C and heater/defroster system into this car.
