Always thought Kansas would be a nice Centralized location in the US to live. Not too cold in the Winter, not too humid.

Any thoughts..... ?

By the way Welcome

Actually the weather is very seasonal, we have 110*F in summer with high humidity, and negative double digits and snow in the winters...

There is no perfect location, seems it's more favorable to snowbird back and forth to the areas that are more favorable, when it suits your time frames in a favorable manner.

Lol.....

Thanks Kansas for posting and giving us your perspective.

Ya, over by Hutchinson kinda. And I love the Planes movies. Definitely Dusty Crophopper...
I was a wildland firefighter for the Feds. CalFire advised on Planes Fire and Rescue and they nailed the terminology and fire behavior.

It is VERY interesting you should mention that. I have about 9600 USAF flying hours (mostly in C-130s), and when I watch a movie that is aviation based, I always know when there was a good advisor for the movie. I think my wife might be getting tired of hearing me say things like, "That's not how you do that."
