Just introducing my self My name is Steve and I recently picked up my first Mopar project in alot of years, it is a 72 Dart Swinger Originally Hemi Orange with a white vinyl roof and a running slant 6 paid $175.00. The car is straight but real rusty it is a pretty ambitious project but I am in no rush. I just hated the thought of this car going to the crusher so I bought it. My plans are for a nice driver with a small block and some upgraded suspension and brake work. I will post pics soon.

Welcome! I have good memories of Maine and A-bods. Well, maybe not so good memories if you ask some. My wife worked in Calais for about six months on a traveling job and out on RT1 there sat a '71 340/4speed Duster, spoiler, rallyes, etc, that I spent a week trying to hunt down the owner of. Car was surrounded by weeds, the truck in the driveway never moved. I spent a week knocking on doors of the house and the neighbor's houses trying to see if the car might be for sale. No one knew the owner, no one was home, etc. Had two grand in my pocket that was willing to use to bring it home, too.
Welcome from upstate NY from someone who's been to Maine and wants to take a few weeks vacation to go back! (Maybe the car's still there...)
 
Welcome Steve, It's good to see another Main-ah. There's not too many of us on here. What part of Maine are you from?
This is a great site, with a lot of helpful, and knowledgable people.
