Just recently purchased a 72 duster that had Sat for 10 years with a broken crank and kind of went crazy with replacing stuff haha. Picked up a 318 for it just to get it on the road. Eventually will build a 408 probably. But it's almost road worthy! Figured I'd join in the fun here since Facebook is so finicky with groups. I miss forums so I came here!

Here is a couple before and after-ish (still 8n process) pics.

Welcome from Texas, great work so far keep us posted on your progress.

Hey - welcome to the site! That was my high school/college car! I'm glad it found it's way into someone's hands who will actually do something with it. If I had the room for it at my place, I'd have swooped it back up. It's crazy how fast it turned to **** once I sold it back in '05-ish. Let me know if you have any questions about it. Here are some photos from back when I used to beat the hell out it as a high school/college kid:

Welcome, sweet 72. Nothing wrong with a gold duster… Mine is under the black someone before me painted it.. I have a 70 duster sitting at my brothers outside of Willows…

Oh wow that's awesome! I do have questions! Haha I think I got most figured out but I'm curious what year the disk brake swap is and what all got swapped. That's so cool that you found it on here haha. Are you still in the area?

The brakes look like 73 and up single pucks that the factory changed to along with the large bolt pattern for the wheels.
