New Hellcat powered Jeep Cherokee

-
not as ugly as i thought it would be either

any chance there is a 3rd row in there?

My dealer sent me an invitation to order one. Seems he has 2 allocations from the factory and wanted to know if I want one. I know the guy personally and he knows I'm a Mopar guy to the bone.

No, I'm not going to get one. If I ordered a hellcat, it would be the Charger version. White with a red and black interior. He almost had me talked into one last year.

When I bought my '13 Ram, the dealer had an RT Cherokee in there. That was the 392 powered one right? I asked the saleman if I could drive it. "I don't think so, but I'll ask the manager". Sales Manager walks out and tells me " Show me the money and you can drive it". "I just spent $33K on that black Ram and I can't test drive that RT for 10 minutes?". "You can drive it after you buy it". Nice guy :icon_fU:

That would more than likely have been an SRT. That's my plan for our next vehicle once we have a kid and need something bigger than our 200.

Well ... I had the letters 2/3 right :rofl:I just couldn't see that SRT haulin my dirty dusty butt and tools off to some construction project in a land far far away. That's what the big black Hemi Ram was for.

My swiss boss got a kick out of the AMG G63's when he saw one. He said they (G class) were lowly mail trucks in Switzerland and America eats that fender flares and big motor **** up on anything. I agree. Our highway patrol out here is using Fords "Interceptor" SUV. And they move....Anyone remember the GMC Syclone/Typhoon/Sonoma GT? An S-15 mini truck with a Grand National motor in it. I believe the payload capacity of that truck was 200 lbs and tow capacity was 0. I see the same fate, 2-3 year run and done.

i sure as hell want one. in fact i recently test drove a standard srt8 jeep...they move!!!

I've been shopping for a Durango for my wife.... I wonder if they'll put the Hellcat drivetrain in that!

You Santa Maria people....:)

I've driven the hellcat, and I was thoroughly impressed, if it had one downfall it was traction! Problem solved with all wheel drive, this thing is awesome! Is it practical? Hell no, but who cares, I would love to Street race this beast!

I saw it on Motortrend tv show last night. Only 86,000 reasons why I wouldn't buy one...
