New induction system

I will be putting it on this weekend. I've heard some people say I'll lose power but I think the big tubes and more filter area and the colder air will give me more hp. What do you think? Oh and I will be going to regular tubing but I'm using flex to start with.

I think the cold air will be a benefit. Size of the tubing should be at least 3-3.5" diameter and you should use non-corrugated tubing. I wouldn't think it would make too much of a difference if the filters are before or after the inlets but maybe someone can offer more insight.

Where did you purchase the bonnet?

The bonnet is from spectre. The tubes are 4 inch, I will be going to regular tubing but this is just to get everything going. It's 3 5/8 tall which I had to mill my carb spacer down but no biggie.

With that hat (?) on the carb, your better off removing the choke houseing like you did. It'll flow well that way.
