Hey guys! I landed a 273 and it’s out of a 1965 Barracuda. It’s a 2 barrel and I want to build it as a 4 barrel, but 4 barre aftermarket manifolds don’t even list the 273 as an option, and originals are very hard to find. Can you guys tell me if a 318-340-360 manifold will fit a 65 273?

65 273 intake bolts are smaller and at a different angle then 66 and up 273,318,340,360.

Newer intakes can be made to work with some modifications around the bolt holes and perhaps some tapered washers.

Start a wanted ad I bet there is a 65 and older 4bbl manifold out there with your new on it.

Alternately you can put 66 and newer 273 heads on it and use a 66 up manifold

I may just start that wanted ad when I have more money laying around for original parts. I’d love to simply change the heads but unfortunately I simply don’t have access to newer heads for that motor. I mean I have a 74 318 and a 72 360 but those combustion chambers aren’t as nicely shaped as the 65 273 has

you might want to post a want ad here for an Edelbrock D4B. Excellent manifold for your motor.
