Has anyone here happen to have used this shop in NJ for a rebuild or to purchase a crate engine??http://www.eddiesvalvegrinding.com/

It seems to be a nice well rounded shop. I was thinking of perhaps running my car all this year, then sending them my matching numbers 69 340 for a rebuild . I think I might like to up the power output some to.It would be nice to get it back with around 360 / 370 hp. any comments are welcome . This time around, I dont want to be fitting rings myself. i want the engine done right lol.

I like weston machine's work better. They have done machine work for me in the past and built a few engines for some friends...with no problems. www.westonmachine.com

forget it. that place sucks. you can get lots of recomendations for good shops. are you in nj?

LOrenzos in Hulmeville pa ....execelent work and has dyno in shop to tune motor to your specs.......

Im located in Westchester county NY . I wouldnt mind driving 2 hours or so for a good shop.I have lots of time to look around and have no idea who would do a great job rebuilding and putting my 340 together..I guess nothing is cheap these days . I was told 2500 for a stock rebuild so far.. Naturally the closer to home ,the better. Thanks for any help. I could use it here.

i use larry hansen at hansen racing engines in middlesex nj, i would recomend him to anyone. i do know guys that used eddys before with bad results. i gues sit happens to everyone but i have a list of local shops i wont use.
