Grab a wrinkled Lincoln and a few cents for tax from your piggy bank and head on down to your local news stand. Pick up a copy of the 3rd issue (FEB/MAR 2008) of MOPAR ENTHUSIAST magazine. First stop: page 28. See if plum crazy looks familiar.... how cool! Then examine the rest and see what you think.

Maybe I've been asleep at the wheel but I first saw this magazine Saturday at my local Checker Auto. Turns out I missed the first two releases. Looking good so far......

I guess I must have done a little head bobbing as I find out this is the magazine 383man was referring to in his previous post.

When I die I want to go quietly in my sleep like my grandfather did........

not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car!

lol.... I think its a great mag... but I am biased...

www.moparenthusiast.com

if you feel like downloading the 10 meg table of contents... 383 mans car is looking pretty damn cool!

How does this magazine differentiate itself from the existing Mopar magazines; Mopar Muscle and Mopar Action?

I'll have to read a copy to see the difference. It'll have a lot of measuring up to do to compete with Mopar Action. Mopar Muscle IMO is only good for product tests.

edit: I think Mopar Enthusiast actually features "new" Mopars. The other magazines only ever feature classics.

I decided to sign up and support them and give it a try.. cant get enough Mopars to read anyway..:happy9:

My local news stand is just minutes away.
Thanks for the heads up.
Great magazine and a must have!!!

I was actually sent a free magazine(The one Mike has).It was a very nice mag, however the mag was much more for a subscription than the other two.

Big... you need to call customer service @ 1-800-448-3611 (Mon.-Fri. 8AM-5PM EST) - they will get that straightened out man.

As far as what it's about? - It's going to be more for regular guys then most, for guys like me!

BUT - YOU tell the editor what you want in there - He will listen. His email is [email protected] - Any suggestions, and feedback on current issues should go there!

the things that are different are the shoot outs at the track. although they need to include some action pics. its cool to see what different combo's run(if the owners actually tell the truth about their combo lol.) . the back yard type of stuff that DJV writes about is cool and true back yard type of stuff .then you have ted wagners tech articles. they are usually good and you can learn alot from that guy.. they have also seemed to include some of the smaller mopar shows. showing the lil guys some love is definatley a good thing. the magazine is only three issues old so i'm sure over time it will find its own identity. time will tell where its place among the others it will be.

it being bi-monthly kinda sucks. nd it seems to me that they have a mojor problem getting it to their subscribers and into the stores lately. they will blame it on the post office but i can tell you i get my other subscriptions on time and these guys have 2 months to get it to me..lol. and they seem to be drawn to the same big $$$$ cars that the other magazines are drawn to.. the blue gtx wagon and the red hemi dart both have been in other magazines within a month. i think they need guys at the big shows that think outside the box. seems to me like all of the guys taking pics at the big shows for the mopar magazines all share the same brain.

I got the subscription and I have only recieved one mag and its been like 4 months.

Me too, got the 1st one and nothing since

I have contacted custome service several times and I"M STILL WAITING

I think they have some issues with delivery.

I have several friends who have recieved all 3 issue. A friend in PA has read his 2 & 3rd copy and is sending them to me. We will see which one gets here 1st. From the publishing company or some that have been read and forwarded.

I have been told my Imperial is on page 92 of the 3rd magazine

i purchased my first one at barnes and nobles,,then i recieved both the 2nd and 3rd in the mail,,i like it because it seems like it will reach out to ALL mopar guys,,, all us regular working car guys need a magazine that sees things from our side of the street,,,the other mopar magazine seem to always have some very hard to believe storys,,like the CUDA i for got that was in the barn for 30 years,,,now asking 1 million for it,,,

DJV and I were at carlisle last year and they did photoshoots of both of our cars. The photographer got confused by a detour sign and about beat my little tubbed swinger to death on the glorious backstreets of downtown carlisle. By the way DJV,sure would be nice if you could pull some strings and maybe come up with some of those pics for me,sure was good to see your car in the latest issue, pm me , mike

Hey Mike... Those pix are property of the photographer, Bob Stone... do you have his contact info?

And for you Guys who have delivery problems that wont go away contact the editor, Greg Rager, and let him know... he will take care of it.
