My name is Gary. I have been working with Chrysler products since I was eight years old, and have been driving them since a few years after that. I have several Mopars, including two A-bodies:
My user name is Vaanth. A few of you may have seen it before. I have used it on several things and several places since I coined it in 1979. In 1998, I wrote a document called "A Carter Thermo-Quad Guide" which has become known as the "Vaanth Thermo-Quad Guide". Although it contained a fair amount of information, it was incomplete and had some errors. I have since re-wrote it, expanded it, and corrected it. The new simple text version, like the original, plus two web style versions can be found at Vaanth Thermo-Quad Guide Site. If you found the original useful, you'll find these even more so. When/if time permits, I may build a Version 4 which will have real pictures, diagrams and more information.

- 1973 Duster Twister with 360HP/727 automatic/B-body 8-3/4 axle with 3:55 Sure Grip with upgraded stock type suspension and other mostly stock appearing customizations including a Rallye cluster merged into the original woodgrain/black trimmed dash. The car was originally a 318/904/7-1/4 axle, column shift and bench seat. It is floor shift with stock parts and bucket seats now. It has the Space Duster lay-down rear seat. I've owned it since 1981 and it has a little over 300,000 miles on the car itself. A little less on the drivetrain.
- 1970 Valiant Duster with 340/833 4-speed/B-body 8-3/4 axle with 3:91 Sure Grip. The car was originally a 225/904/7-1/4 axle, column shift and bench seat. I've owned it since 2005. I built it and painted it to look like my first Duster I had in high school before I got my T/A Challenger in 1976. The original Duster is gone, but some of the parts, such as the Barracuda hub caps that were on it when I got it, are on the current lookalike. I still have the T/A, though it is somewhat different now.
