New Mopar Project

Ok guys don't judge I do own a 75 duster super pro bracket car . I just bought this 87 Dakota so cheap I couldn't pass it.
I bought it as roller less motor trans and third member its setup for a sb mopar 727
It came with all MSD ign,holley hp fuel sys 8 gal cell rear battery mount and disconnect
dual jaz seats and 5 point harnesses b&m shifter autometer gauges shift light tach
It has stock front suspension rear consist of narrowed 83/4 ladder bars QA1 adj coilovers
track bar.I had enough parts laying around shop to throw this thing together.
Motor is 87 360 block .040 9:1 magnum crank&rods lunati voodoo 494/513 232/[email protected]
edelbrock performer w/1" 4 hole spacer 750 holley hp carb 1 5/8 long tube headers
fresh 596 heads trans is full manual 727 9.5 ptc converter and 5.13 gears moser spool. 13-31-15 mickey ET slicks weld drag stars all around will post pics when I get it out of paint.
So im curious what you guys think this non A body will run in the 1/8th. 3250 lb w/driver

I'll give it a shot? On the first time out with it, I'd be thrilled with a 7.90 @ 87mph.

Will that SB fit in there? What year did they round off the grill to allow room for the SB?

I have a 1980 D50 that I use to have a 2000 360 magnum in it. It was the 380 hp crate engine, It was a stock motor with a 501/513 lift hydraulic roller cam. I got a 7.27 @ 95 best out of it. It weighed 2950 and had 513 gears and a 8 in PTC convertor. It ran 7.40's with a 9.5 PTC convertor. I shifted at 5600 rpm any higher and it would slow down.
It is alot faster now with a pump gas 394 ci with Indy 360-2 heads.

7 - teens at around ninety 4-5-6 m.p.h.
That's a good bit of gear even with a 31 inch hide.
Should be a nice little buggy.
