Hey, everyone!
I just wanted to share something I've been working on for a while. I shot a feature-length film about bracket racing that took me about five years to complete. It's called Sunday Sunday Sunday and finally it is now on streaming services. I grew up drag racing out at Englishtown Raceway park in my 73 340 Duster. Always loved A bodies but also anything with wheels. We had no car in it after 1975 and that gave it a period feel. The entire film was shot using an iPhone which kind of was in parallel with the story of two brothers who inherit a slant 6 dart and take their chances out on the track getting chased down all day. Moral of the story is to make the most of what you have. I had 5k bucks to make it with, so it ain't perfect but she's mine. Most of it went into buying the car but the rest was for pizza for the cast and crew who were fellow racers, friends, family, and even Bruce Larson who is now a friend. We did pretty well in the film festival circuit winning 14 awards out of 24 nominations which was mind boggling. If you get a chance to check it out I'd love to know what you think. I sort of feel nervous putting this out there to the community because I know like many of you I know if a Schwinn stingray is the wrong year for a movie haha, but hey it's the best we can do with what we have.
You can check the movie out on streaming or support here:
