I have for sale a NEW, MSD Start/Retard control box P/N 8982. This unit provides a start retard along with a high speed retard feature. If running a lot of total advance, this unit will retard the timing so you’ll have much easier start up. The high speed retard is activated at 4,000 rpm and using a switch will retard the timing using one of the included plug in modules. ), 2, 3, or 4 degrees depending on how much timing retard you need. This box has never been used or installed. It comes with the plug in modules, all the wiring needed, mounting hardware and the installation instructions.
