yep its the way 65's look. i plan on just making it mechanically sound. so far upr/lwr rad hoses, full tuneup w/pertronix, rebuilt carb, new bat, alt, regulator, and just recently had a buddy fix all the gauges so they read correctly and put in a new speedo cable. its for haulin the dogs and whatever else i have. the og rear (7 1/4) is taking a crap slowly but i am building up an 8 3/4 with 2.94 gears in it to replace it. it should go in soon.

Congrats on the wagon. You'll have fun looking for wagon related parts, but not as bad as 63,64's. Enjoy the extra space.

i am finding out that wagons are hard to find stuff for! man oh man! i guess the taillights for the wagons are unique, and i need the center "D" shaped reflector. my buddy thinks he has one. the cosmetics will stay the same for a while. i have ssbc rotors and calipers that they never sent a call tag for and they already refunded me!! all i need are the brackets, bearing spacers from them and the hoses, mc i can get locally. then just need sbp 14" steel disc wheels to keep the dogdish look.

thanks but i need just the red reflector only that is in the center. my taillights are good. good source info though.

Wow I love those Dart Wagons, I'm with you I'd just drive it. Too Cool. I showed the pic to my wife, even she love it :headbang:

Cool wagon! A few years ago I had a `65 Dart that I regret selling. If your looking for organ donors, I found this over at MoParts.Com:

Parting out a 1964 Plymouth Valiant 200 wagon. Most everything is there, but car has some rust. Slant six with pushbutton auto. Car can be bought complete; have title, original owners manual, etc. No part too big or small. Willing to remove the inner fenders.

PM or email me

Thanks

Llooks identical to my 65 Dart wagon. Bought mine through eBay. Had it transported from CA ( LA area) to here in VA. I've been gathering parts here and there and as others have mentioned, wagon-specific parts are kinda hard to find. I decided to mod mine a bit - 340/904, complete 65 Barracuda interior, 66 Formula S dash (inc the 150 MPH speedo and factory tach), LBP discs and shortened/resplined axles to go into an 8 & 3/4. Anyway, good luck on yours!

Dodge dart wagons, almost as rare as 70 hemi cuda convertibles...but cooler.
Id love to get a dart wagon later on to pull my little scamp camper. Strange that they made more dart convertibles then wagons (is this true?) How much did you get your wagon for?

I like it .. But I would not like trying to find parts for it ....

i paid $500. it already had a supposed rebuilt trans. i also put new brakes at all 4 corners and upgraded to dual bowl m/c. the rear is making some strange noises though, kinda like a creaky wheel in an old horror flick. my concern is that back side glass. i am putting the biz name there, just don't want it to break.
