Well 27X10's fit nice under the dart. I have a good 3/4" on the inside and more than an inch on the outer. Now I have to replace the font tires as the are unsafe. I'm about six weeks away from saying good by when I ship her off for paint. I'll be sure and break in the new tires and send you all the video link before she goes off to the body shop.

The springs are relocated inboard but no mini tub. other than that ...... its a tight fit but nothing is close to rubbing.

Are the springs moved into the frame rails or with the offset shackle kit?
What is the backspacing on the wheels?

Springs are moved into the frame and the wheels are 15" X 8" with a 5.5" back set from stockton wheel. With the quarter panel lip rolled and a 5" back set I could squeak an 11" wide tire in there with about 1/2" on either side.

Awesome! You just solved my only problem with my Dart. I didn't want to use skinny rear tires.

How hard is the spring relocate kit to do? Did you use Summits?

If you can weld and read a tape measure its not too bad. The kit came with the car and I'm not sure who manufactured it. With a mini tub you can go 13" wide!!!

Well Hell, where do you get mini tubs? Haven't run across any. I would LOVE to run some 12 inchers on a Dart. It just looks Nasty!!! Thanks again for the info!!!!

You don't buy them. You fabricate them yourself by splitting the original wheel well and adding a strip of sheet metal. Here is the how to step by step link for mini tubing with great photos.

No problem. I was leaning that way but don't want to cut too much on one of some 4,000 340 GTS's built in 1969. I may pick up a clean dart douwn the road and go all out. This GTS already got cut up ....

Don't blame you on not cutting the GTS. Mines just a 71 swinger/318 so its going under the knife. Since I picked up a 69 GT parts car, I might play with its fenderwells first. I'm still surprised at how much is left on itsince it was rolled in '86.

If your not planning on mini tubbing it you can just use the offset shackles. They will allow you to use the full stock wheel tub.
