took the dart out to the track, decided to run the points this year.

heres my first pass, 60ft was horrible but still managed a 12.21 @ 110

but then again my motor is not together any way............would be nice to have that kind of weather to get my chit done.

What was the temp out there. People in the grand stands sure look cold. :shaking2: :coffee2:
 
i always liked sac, a ton or ricer's on the street nights that like to go boom but always fun. that damn dip in the left lane sure makes you s**T a brick though... always right lane for me when i was there...
 
Nice pass. Are you going to race Sonoma tomorrow? Should be a real nice day in the high 60s. Lisa and I will be there with our 2 Cars.

thanks for all the replies, yea it was 68 out here on new years day. couldnt ask for better weather for drag racing. da was around 60-100ft.

i love the left lane, its a lot smoother than the right but that dip will get you every time.

i went out today for test and tune and go my first 11 sec slip and my highest trap speed.

went 11.94 @ 113.

found out i dont have a metering block on the rear of my carb so its only getting as much fuel as the carb body will feed it, which is equivalent to about a #76 jet. ill be picking up a 750dp asap.

cool .. hope you had some fun. we are looking for 7-12 in of snow tonight in to Monday. with the high on Monday -11 ... nice run on the dart..

removed the little filters in the float bowls, more timing and bigger front jets. track prep played a big role, im on cheap nitto drag radials so the slightest bit of track temp change ruins my launch. i really need a full slick
