News Years Day for the kids

The family is pretty busy during the Holiday Season so we got
together on News Years Day so the kids could get their gifts.
It's all about the kids.

The new garage turned out to be a great place to do this.

I had all of the work done.

Ceiling is 12-1/2 feet
Overhead doors are 9 and 18 foot wide
All walls are 2 x 6 With R19
Attic is R30

I did the wall decorations.

This Daytona was my first "Turbo Mopar"

Did part of the 2007 Hot Rod Power Tour with it. I will be doing
the Long Haul in the Power Tour with it this year. "A fun ride"

BTW my 'Cuda should have black paint on it this week end.
I stopped by The Rod Shop today and Richard was doing
the final wet sand on the primer prior to paint. The car
will be painted completely apart. Then the doors, fenders,
hood, deck, etc. will be installed. I have painted a couple of
cars in my life, but this thing has the smoothest surface
I have ever run my hand over....and the panels are straight!

It's been staying pretty consistent here w/ upper 60's during the day. Typical AZ winter and truly too cold for me. I hate winter :hmph:

Can't wait to see pics of the Cuda in black :thumrigh: My Demon is black and looks great when it's clean. Just tough to keep it clean in this dusty desert......
