During eliminations at Gateway International Raceway today NHRA and the racing comunity lost a top driver.
Darrell Russel lost his life an a crash after setting a new track record on Friday night. He covered the 1/4 mile in 4.511 ET at 328.54 SEC and was currently 4th in the standings and was Rookie of the year in 2001.
My prayers are with his wife and family.
