Run em or reconsider? These are fresh out of the box.

Real fine scotch brite and knock the high spots off. It will be fine.

The last automotive engine I did was a/6.
(I work on alot of Briggs Tecumseh and Kohler in between car engines)

The 1st set of bearings I bought, were questionable right out of the box. The coating was chipping, I could see black substrate and could catch a finger nail on the areas that were chipped on the shells. They were old, had been on a shelf for probably 35-40 years or maybe more, even.
For the cost of the rebuild overall vs the cost of bearings that first set went in the garbage and I bought another set for piece of mind. Now I don't have to worry about them. But yours in the pic don't look like anything to worry about. Run those.
